for the Welcome Dinner for New Parishioners?

on the Safety and Security Committee?
We would like to form a team for each of the weekend Masses. We would need at least 4 responsible adults, male or female, for each Mass. with Christmas Eve Mass Children’s Choir?
We need children to volunteer to participate in the Children’s Choir. This Choir will perform at the 4 pm Christmas Eve Mass. Most songs are traditional Christmas Hymns. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm beginning November 6th and continuing through December 18th. Click HERE to Volunteer.
with Food Preparation?
We are looking for parishioners who enjoy preparing food, helping in our kitchen and serving food at our events and activities. We are a large Parish and so we need many hands to help make those events a wonderful experience for everybody! For more information, please contact the parish office 242-6121.
with Columbarium Upkeep?
We are currently looking for volunteers to help maintain the looks of our Columbarium and outside Stations of the Cross. This would involve coming perhaps 4 times a year to wash and polish name tags on the columbarium and wash down the Stations. For more information, please contact the parish office 242-6121.
with our Altar Linens Ministry
Special care is always taken in the washing and ironing of the linens we use at Mass. We are in need of another person or a couple who would like to take the linens once a month. Please email Jack email@example.com or call parish office and leave a message 970-242-6121.

We meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9am to get the word out to parishioners. There is always good conversation & donuts too. Call Bonnie at 243-4698 for more information.
with making and/or buying dishes for IHM’s Funeral Dinners

with Marriage Preparation
Couples are needed who can listen well, share openly and encourage engaged couples in their search for a happy and fulfilling marriage. Manuals are provided and orientation sessions are held when needed. Learn more by contacting Coordinator Karen Kiefer 970-243-8908, or emailing her at RainbowArtistry@aol.com. We offer classes several times a year.
donating to our Grocery Cart?
We ask parishioners to help us fill a grocery cart in the narthex for Catholic Outreach the first Sunday of the month with non-perishable food items which will be donated to Grand Valley Catholic Outreach. For more details call 970-241-3658.
IHM’s Rent-A-Kid Program?
If you need odd jobs completed around your house, we have re-launched our Rent-A-Kid fundraiser. Young people from IHM and Mesa Catholic are participating in this program to raise money for the Alternative Spring Break trip to our Sister Parish in El Espino, El Salvador, and others to raise money to attend World Youth Day 2019 in Panama. If you need help with: yard work, light house cleaning or other odd jobs, please contact Andrea at IHM to see if we can help! There are currently 10 students ranging from high school to college involved in the Rent a Kid program. To submit a request requires sending Andrea an email email@example.com or calling the parish office (970)242-6121 and leaving a voice mail message at Andrea’s extension #207. A response to your request will be available within 48 hours. All work is done for a donation to the parish. Please be generous!

KAIROS Ministry at Delta Corrections Center?
We are called to visit the imprisoned! Kairos is a non-denominational Christian ministry that is rewarding for both the volunteer and the incarcerated. We are looking for Christian men that are bilingual so we can better serve the Spanish speaking men there. Can You Help within our WORLD with …
Foundation for Cultural Exchange, FCE?
Immaculate Heart of Mary has collaborated with FCE, a local non-profit, to assist our Sister Parish in El Salvador on a number of projects, including the construction of a kindergarten classroom in 2009 (increasing the school’s capacity from 1,050 to 1,200 students), a school auditorium in 2010 that more than doubled the size of the existing meeting area, and emergency relief funding that funded the construction of three new homes following Hurricane Ida. Parishioners have traveled to El Salvador as part of the FCE’s annual cultural immersion trips since 2005. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Children in Faith Formation at IHM collected a car load of stuffed animals to donate to Catholic Outreach for their Lenten project this year. Thanks all who contributed these flurry friends to offer to children in need of love and friendship during difficult times.
“The Last Words” Lenten Production: God has blessed us all with many different talents. Our 2017 cast for “The Last Words” displayed their talents to praise and honor Our Lord, Jesus. Director Greg Stephen along with cast members: Megan Rubalcaba, John Moniz, Angela Rubalcaba, Jeff Henni, Henry Pena, Annastasia Moniz and Henry Ibarra stepped forward and accepted the challenge to demonstrate their faith in their portrayals. They were supported by narrator, Gary Carr; piano & drum solos by Sherry Harmon, and technical support was by Shirley Carr and Kathy Stephen.
WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY…
Thanks to all of the IHM middle and high school youth who prepared Italian vegetable with ham soup, chicken and rice soup, and grilled cheese to serve 130 residents at Homeward Bound on Friday, April 7th 2017! 2017 Spring Break trip to El Espino, El Salvador school supplies and a large amount of books were delivered to our Sister School in El Salvador by young adults and high school students from our parish along with our Youth Leaders. They also spent time with the 34 scholarship students of El Espino who have received the support of our parish. Thank you IHM for your continued prayers and support!
